A fun Zesty Lemon Birthday card using the Spellbinders Make Mine Lemon Lime die set :D This is such a cool die set, and very versatile with the shapes you get, there's no need to even include any citrus fruits on your card if you don't want, just those leaves and the flower would be gorgeous by themselves, or mixed with other die sets too :D To break up the solid yellow of the lemons, I added some subtle ink blending to the edges using Distress Oxides, and I nestled in the Twisted Palm die into the cascade of lemons to add some extra interest too :D I'd had my eye on that Twisted Palm die for a while, not sure what drew me towards it, but I finally caved :D :D For the background I heat embossed a Prima Stripy stamp using some Brilliant Sparkle Embossing Powder, then I added watercolour over the top using my Distress Oxides :D I added in the black and white bakers twine to balance the black of the stamped sentiment, and for the final finishing touches, I used my Tonic Aqua Shimmer and some Tonic Nuvo Crystal Drops too :D Hope you liked the card :D
