Hohoho Merry Christmas with Tonic Festive Kaleidoscope Lid :D

A bright and contemporary Christmas card using the lid detail die from the brand new Tonic Festive Kaleidoscope Dies :D I also created a fun contemporary box using these dies too, and that video will be up on my ArTi channel at some point, but I'm going to save a lot of the box making videos for later in the year as I always struggle to keep up in Nov/Dec, so hopefully this year I'll have plenty of videos ready to go :D :D :D The background was actually mopping up the excess Shimmer Powders from decorating the box, that's why they're a nice pastel shade :D Hope you liked the card :D

Paper Piecing with Tonic Dainty Doily Die :D

A modern wedding card using the brand new Tonic Dainty Doily Die Set :D I feel like I say this alot recently, but I'm really loving paper piecing at the moment, and the centre die from this die set is wonderful for paper piecing as there's hardly any pieces to put back in, and when cutting it in different colours like this, you could even create a few focal embellishments in the same way, or save the outside pieces for another project :D :D These stunning verso doily dies are also fab for cutting into your card, and here I added double sided adhesive behind and then added glitter through the openings, it gives a nice subtle effect and is a nice way to kind of fill the white space :D :D Hope you liked the card! :D

Paper Piecing with Tonic Festive Kaleidoscope Panels :D

I absolutely LOVE paper piecing at the moment, and the Festive Kaleidoscope dies are perfect for this! I've shown this technique a few times with some of the older releases of the side panel designs for the Kaleidoscope boxes, but I am loving this Christmas tree design! And for this card, I was actually just using the 'waste' from some of the boxes I'd made for the shows, and I'm sure I still have enough little trees left for a few more cards too!! I finished the panel by die-cutting it with a stitched rectangle die, used one of last years Christmas sentiments, and then added on some Sunlit Meadow Nuvo Glitter drops as the final touch too :D :D P.s. All the trees are identical, so paper piecing is super easy too!! :D :D

Let it Snow with Tonic and Hohohochanda :D

Hope you enjoyed the first two shows from the new Weekday Wonder on Hochanda launching the new Festive Kaleidoscope Dies :D I hope the stock lasts for the rest of the shows! I like an excuse to sit down for an hour and watch the show with a cuppa tea :D Here's one of the cards I made using the new dies :D I love the wonderful boxes that you can create with the whole Kaleidoscope range, but I also love that you can easily use them on your cards too :D :D And for this card, I decided to use the Hohoho! gift tag along with some Tonic alphabet dies to create a punny sentiment just for Hochanda :D :D And I used the snowflake flourish side panel to create simple shaker as the focal point of the card too :D :D Hope you like it! :D

Hedgehog Maple Leaf Diorama using Tonic Craft Kits :D

A collaboration of the newest Tonic Craft Kit, Kit #12 with some of my old favourites, Kit #01 and Kit #05, these both came out a while ago, but you might have been lucky enough to grab yourself one when Tonic opened the vault a few weeks ago :D As soon as I saw that this months kit had that Maple Leaf shaker in it, I just knew I had to use it in conjunction with the adorable Hedgehog from Kit 1, they work so well together!! :D I ended up creating a kind of hybrid, as I was originally aiming for a diorama, but ended up adding in a few shaker elements too, I couldn't resist!! :D Those tiny leaf dies are superb for shaker pieces, and mixing in some of the foliage dies from Kit 1 and Kit 5 really helped give a nice full effect to the outside of the shaker pouch too :D Hope you liked the card :D

Tonic Craft Kit #12 Hello Autumn Shaker :D

This months Tonic Craft Kit has a gorgeous Autumnal theme all based around the main attraction, the Maple Leaf shaker pouches and die :D You might be thinking, why haven't I used the shaker pouches for the shaker card above.... Well, I thought why not show you how you can still use the kit to create shaker cards once you've run out of shaker blisters, or if you want a smaller shaker area :D There will also be two more videos up over the next week using this kit too, one focusing on a few of the small leaf dies, and the other using the Maple Leaf blisters :D And, I've also done a Kit un-boxing video too which will be up on my Know How channel, and embedded below too :D There's also a super exciting sneak peek in this kit too!!
