The Christina Collection - In Conjunction with Tonic :D

 

Again I'm combining Christina's collection in with my usual schedule, so today I've done a Christina and Tonic mash up :D I really love how this card came out! I was dying to make that butterfly into a shaker :D :D :D AND of course I had to try making the quatrefoil trellis die into a stamp too :D and it works sooooo well!!! There will actually be another video up in a few days using this 'stamp' again I loved it that much :D :D This was the first time I had used Tonic's Gold Enchantment Embossing Powder and it is stunning, and using it with the Embellishment Mouse as a resist works amazingly too :D :D I had to use another of the stunning Will's Hand sentiment dies from Tonic too, and I thought Cherish was a nice word to pair with a butterfly :D Hope you liked today's card as much as I do :D

The Christina Collection - In Conjunction with Spellbinders :D

 

I said last week, that to celebrate the launch of Christina Griffiths Collection, I'm doing a video everyday for a week using her collection, well I'm mixing her collection in with my usual schedule too, so today we have a video combining a couple of her stamp sets with some Seth Apter Spellbinders dies :D I really like how these cards came out! I was aiming for a masculine look, and I think it worked out great :D :D Hope you like them too! I used acrylic paint to stamp all over the background, then added colour using Distress Stains, I did this quite a few years ago, and have been meaning to do some more cards using the same concept, and I thought what better opportunity than to use the technique with Christina's collection :D The Seth Apter Spellbinder dies instantly give the cards that masculine look, and that Luna Silver Tonic card is just stunning too :D :D :D

The Christina Collection - Trellis Trio :D

 

A trio of cards using Christina's stunning trellis dies from her new collection :D These were actually the 'stencils' that I used in my previous video :D I couldn't waste them, they looked so beautiful, so I thought I'd make three quick and easy cards using the quilted effect (where you emboss the die into the card) and then I layered the matching trellis over the top, added a butterfly and a sentiment and voila :D I think the white quatrefoil one would have made a great wedding card too :D Hope you liked this video showing you how you can make the most out of your die-cut stencils :D :D :D
