Here's my Up Close video showing you the Mosaic dies from Tonic, along with 6 examples of ways I used them :D I hope the video gives you a little bit of inspiration of ways to use these cool layering dies :D :D And I've already edited one of my sped up videos using these dies, which went up yesterday, so I've linked that below in case you missed it :D :D
Did you get hold of the gorgeous Mosaic dies from Tonic when they first launched? Or yesterday in the Wednesdie deals? If you did, why not give some paper piecing a go with them :D I've used the Orchid Meadow set, but I've linked the Gates of Atlantis below too, as both work great for this technique :D I add my initial die-cut to some double sided adhesive, there's 2 reasons for this, 1 because it makes the whole process quicker, and 2 when you get fed up with piecing the bits back in, you can finish the rest of the design with glitter :D :D Have a nosy at my video below to to see the full process, and if you find the video too fast you can always slow it down on YouTube :D Hope you liked this extra inspiration for you Mosaic Dies! Have a fab day, Christine xxx

Aurora Flakes, brand new to Cosmic Shimmer are a really cool product, I'd describe it as a cross between gliding flakes and glitter... so therefore they can be used in the same ways you would usually apply gilding flakes and glitter too :D I think they come in 10 different colours, each one being a mix of 2 colours, I got given the Golden Rose colour way to work with, and I must say I LOVED it!! :D They work so well in conjunction lots of the glitters that are already in the Cosmic Shimmer range too, and as you can see on the card above I faded the Aurora Flakes into some Iced Crystals :D :D Then I matched my colouring to all the interference colours from my background :D You can also see on the tag below how you can stamp with Cosmic Shimmer Flake and Glitter glue and apply the Aurora Flakes to that which looks amazing, and that frog from the Fungi stamp set from Pink Ink Designs looks stunning :D :D Hope you liked the video and it gave you a few ideas of how you can use these stunning Aurora Flakes :D :D xxx

Here's my Up Close video looking at the Floating Frame dies from Tonic :D I saw a few comments floating around on the Tonic Facebook group where people were after instructions of inspiration on how to use these dies, so thought I'd pull my finger out and get my video edited :D Hope it's useful :D :D
My second and probably final video using Tonic Craft Kit #30, I'm going to do my best to get back to 3 sped up kit videos next month!! :D Time just keeps getting away from me recently! I hope you've enjoyed the 2 I have done though :D :D For this video I used the basic shapes from the kit to create a kind of patchwork effect for these cards and stuck to the cream/yellow/gold colours from the kit :D :D I also used the stamps to fill int he background a little and did some splatters with the Vanilla Aquaflow :D xxx

Here's my Up Close video looking at this months Designer's Choice die set :D The difference between the Designer's Choice dies and the Tonic Craft Kits, is that you're just getting an exclusive dies set (different to the kit) so if you don't need any new Nuvo or Craft Perfect you still have the chance to get an exclusive die set :D and it's available to order straight away! There's no waiting until the first of the next month like with the kits :D
I'm quite late putting this video up, but Simon Says Stamp very kindly sent me the 'like you' CZ Designs die from the Hey Bestie release that launched on the 9th Jan 2020 :D I've teamed it up with some other SSS products I already had and used my old DYMO labeller to complete the sentiments :D My DYMO labeller is older than me, so they don't make it anymore, however, We R Memory Keepers make one now!!! So I've linked that below :D :D I went to town using some Rock Candy Crackle Paint, which I brought years ago and always forget I have lol!! And LOTS of gorgeous Nuvo products too :D Hope you like the cards :D :D xxx
