Tonic Floral Affections Collection Spinner Card :D

An elegant spinner card using a bit of everything from the NEW Floral Affections collection from Tonic! This collection is launching tomorrow (Wednesday 6th December 2017) on Hochanda at 6pm, so be sure to check out the shows!! I was lucky enough to make a few samples for the show, and prepare a few demos, so fingers crossed I get some of my cards on the telly hehehe :D There are so photos of the other cards at the end of this post too :D I just had to use these stunning dies to make a spinner card, and I thought as it's quite a lengthy process, that I would film it :D When making a spinner card, I like to use a really long piece of invisible thread, and I wrap it around the card multiple times (in case you wonder what I'm doing in the video lol) this way it stays nice a taught!! In the past (so about 3 years ago) I just used to sandwich the thread between tape, and they would always become saggy after I'd spun them only a couple of times, so I then came up with this solution and have been improving it ever since :D Hope you liked the card and the video!! Don't forget to tune into Hochanda on Wednesday evening and all through the day on Thursday too :D

The Christina Collection - Welcome to the World Baby Boy :D

An unusual use of a hand stencil... using multiple colours of green ink to create a tree! Add in a simple hand drawn trunk and your sentiment, and you have the perfect new baby card :D All thanks to Christina's amazing Baby Occasions Additions Bundle :D I had this idea while falling asleep the other night, and I just had to try it to see if it worked, and I LOVE the results!! and Christina does too hehehe :D I think this would look great with the addition of some tiny pink die-cut flowers for a little girl's birth too :D I might do a similar idea for my God-Daughters Christening card early next year lol :D Hope you liked the card and the video too!! :D

Happy Christmas Shaker Card :D

A very bright gold and green four quadrant shaker card using the Festive Cornucopia PaperCuts Die Set from Creative Expressions :D I made this card quite a while ago, and it was actually on the telly too lol :D It is a bit bright, but it makes quite a nice quirky Christmas card! If I was making it again I think I'd go for a more subtle colour scheme like 3 tones of the same colour or something :D Anyway, hope you liked the video! :D

Main Creative Expressions products used :D

Cosmic Shimmer Large Glass Beads
Cosmic Shimmer Opaque Micro Beads – Snow White

Butterflies, Music and Flowers Shaker Card :D

A shaker guitar and a 3D butterfly using the new Butterflies, Music and Flowers stamp set from Apple Blossom exclusive to CraftStash :D These stunning stamps were actually on a magazine freebie stamp set yonks ago, and they're brought the designs back, making them different sizes and different orientations too (so if you do have the original set, they work great together) but now we have them in gorgeous photo polymer quality too :D My favourite image on the set as to be the butterfly!! I'm hoping at some point to do an art journal layout using it, but I seem to lack the time to do my journal these days lol :D Hope you enjoyed the video :D
