Tonic Glittered Feather Strip Die :D

I absolutely ADORE this feather strip die from Tonic!! It was just on Hochanda as last weekends weekend wow deal along with 3 other gorgeous designs (which you'll certainly be seeing in upcoming videos :D) Whichever one of Tonic's fab designers designed this die set really did themselves proud as it's phenomenally beautiful!! :D :D As soon as I got my set I knew I had to do this technique with it :D :D Hope you liked the card :D :D :D I'm seeing lots of paper piecing in the future of all 4 of these die sets :D :D

Spellbinders Hearts and Butterflies Borders :D

I'm attempting to get back into my original routine of a new Spellbinders video every Monday :D I did keep it up for a good 18 months at least before, but when they stopped the Spellbloggers program I got a bit lazy, but I'm attempting to get it back on track :D :D I was just having fun with these 2 cards using some of the Fab dies from Joanne Fink and the Wings of Love Collection of dies from Spellbinders :D I used an ink sprayed background, added on some stamping with a custom foam stamp using on of the 'love dream create' dies from Joanne Fink, I then embossed the panels and added some gilding polish over the raised surface to push the stamping to the back and emphasize the diamond pattern :D I then finished the cards with one of the line borders from Lawn Fawn and the two border dies from the hearts and butterflies die set :D :D And obviously a scattering of rainbow gems as the final embellishment too :D :D :D

Creating Foam Stamps with Tonic Patterned Panel Dies :D

I absolutely love making stamps from dies (I even have a whole playlist of videos) and I just had to give it a go with these gorgeous new Patterned Panel dies from Tonic :D :D I also had some funky foam cut using the Jigsaw Creation Media Die too so I decided to combine the fall out pieces from the Celtic Braid with them to make the card above :D :D I also had great fun playing with my Gilding Flakes again, I don't know why, but I always tend to pull them out at this time of year lol :D :D The bit where I flicked on the glue was a little off camera, but all I did was scoop up some flake and glitter glue, water it down a little, then I flicked it onto the above card, let it dry as usual then added the flakes :D :D Hope you liked this trio of cards! I had great fun making them, they really cheered me up with the bright colours :D :D :D

Believe with Pure Sheen Let It Snow :D

A sparkly Christmas card making use of the gorgeous snowflake dies from the Winter Spruce tree die set and also the stunning Let it Snow collection from Pure Sheen and Tonic :D If you were watching the shows on Hochanda a few weeks back, you might have seen Paula demonstrate this card too :D The 4 pack sets of confetti, glitter and sequins from Pure Sheen are such great value and have endless uses too, and soon there will be an Up Close and Personal video over on my Know How channel talking about the 2 new colour collections too :D Hope you liked the card :D I love how you can cut the 'bubble' die and snowflake together to give a different look when piecing the pieces back in too :D :D

Nuvo Expanding Mousse and AquaFlows on Vellum :D

A bit of an experimental card playing around with colouring the Nuvo Expanding Mousse with Nuvo AquaFlows :D :D You can add colour to the Expanding Mousse (especially the Worn Linen) with multiple products, I've tried the Aqua Flows and Shimmer Powders, but I think a wet product (like the Aqua Flows) gives the best results because from a scientific point of view I think it's the high moisture content that gives it that great puffy effect, so if you add a powder your losing some of that and it doesn't puff quite so much... But it does depend on what look you're going for though :D :D Anyway, hope you enjoyed the video :D And I hope you have a play with colouring your expanding mousses and even the regular Nuvo Embellishment Mousse is great when you add colours to it too :D :D

Tonic Celtic Braid and Best Wishes Trio :D

A trio of Tonic coloured cards using the fab new Celtic Braid Patterned Panel die and one of the stunning new sentiment dies too :D :D I had great fun having a play over the weekend, just crafting without an end goal in mind, I think we all need a bit of crafting like that now and then, and it helps if you like the cards you get at the end too lol, which fortunately I did :D :D These patterned panel dies are sooooo gorgeous!
