Floral Affections Tonic Christmas Wishes :D

A jammed packed Christmas card for my Mum! She adored the floral affections dies, with the concept of standing the heart on the easel, so I just had to use the stunning dies to create her Christmas card!! :D I went a little OTT with all the embellishments, throwing Nuvo mouse, pure sheen glitter, gems, patterned paper and metallic card at it, but I really love how it turned out, and Mum loves it too :D I used a mixture of older Tonic dies too, and that gorgeous intricate snowflake is from the Mr and Mrs Claus Buildables (which will hopefully be featuring in my Christmas Day video :D) And I had to use some of the Lawn Fawn Knit Picky papers for the layers as my Mum is obsessed with knitting! I don't think she's capable of watching telly unless she has a her knitting needles in her hands lol :D Anyway, hope you liked the card!!! I've actually remembered to use my Snow titles in the video too hehehe :D

The Christina Collection - Congratulations Mr & Mrs Heart Shaker :D

A pink and red heart shaker congratulations card using the gorgeous Love and Marriage additions to The Christina Collection from Card Making Magic, exclusive to CraftStash.co.uk :D I'm loving all of the additions to The Christina Collection, there really is something for EVERY occasion :D :D Just switch out the sentiment on this card and it would be great for valentines day, or even a ruby wedding anniversary card too :D As soon as I saw that gorgeous leafy heart die, I just knew I had to make it into a shaker!! It was a little fiddly cutting really narrow strips of foam tape, but it was certainly worth it!! And because I wanted the background to show through the back of the shaker, I pinched an idea from Sue Wilson (from Creative Expressions) where she puts a second layer of acetate over the back to hold everything in, that way you can put whatever you wanted behind it :D :D :D Hope you liked the card!

Hunkydory Vellum Bauble Shaker :D

I've been really bad at keeping up with my magazine freebie videos over the last 6 weeks, but I'm catching up!!! Here's my video for the Simply Cards and Papercraft Hunkydory freebie :D I decided to go with a vellum shaker behind the bauble :D You can't really tell what's inside it, but adding in the opaque white micro beads gives that cool iconic shaker card noise :D This is such a stunning set, and would make really quick Christmas cards as it takes up most of the card front, and if you kept with this loose watercolour style, but missed out the shaker, they won't take too long to batch make too :D Anyway, hope you liked this long overdue video!! I'm nearly up to date with filming all the mag freebie videos that I'm behind on, so you'll be sure to see a few a week until Christmas now lol :D

Sending Llama Hugs :D

Another pair of cards using the adorable Llamas from the stamp sets that launched last Friday on CraftStash :D I couldn't resist making a shaker card, and I didn't even use a Llama on that one :D :D I haven't included the colouring for these images as I was being lazy and coloured them in front of the telly lol :D Hope you liked both these funny Christmas cards! I love the way they've included separate jumpers and heads and accessories, that way, you have minimal masking to do :D

Fa La La La La La La La Llama :D

I love these Llama stamps from CraftStash!! They launched last week, and there are 2 different sets available, I have used the Christmas one, and today (until midnight) both sets are only £5 (so check out the link below :D) I recently brought the stunning delicate snowflake die from the Fuzzy Lemon range from CraftStash, and I just had to incorporate it into one of these cards, I think it adds some nice interest, white on white behind the 'alpaca' :D Although this is a Llama stamp set, I really wanted to use that punny sub-sentiment 'Alpaca My Scarf' and they look pretty similar anyway, so I thought why not say its an alpaca lol :D :D Hope you enjoyed the video :D
