Birthday Wishes Tonic September Craft Kit :D

A really autumnal feeling wreath birthday card using the fabulous September edition of the Tonic Craft Kit :D This is such a fab way to try out a whole load of different Tonic products! It gives you a taster of their Nuvo Crystal Drops and phenomenal Nuvo Embellishment Mousse, as well as showing you the superb quality of their dies and stamps too, and giving you a sample pack of a variety of the different card and paper they manufacture so that you can really work out what you like (the stain card is sooo gorgeous!!) :D But most importantly you get a brilliant selection of goodies that all coordinate together and enable you to make stunning autumnal card designs with ease :D This is the first video I'm sharing using the fab kit, I have another filmed for next week too, and I'm hoping to get a couple more done too :D Once you start creating with this kit, it's very difficult to stop, as you keep thinking up new ideas :D :D Hope you liked today's card and video for my weekly Blog Tonic post :D

Spellbinders Happy New Home :D

A new home card using the 3D build a house die set from Spellbinders along with a couple of other Die D-Lites Spellbinders sets to create a 2D house topper :D I originally got this die set as I want to make a 3D haunted house over on my ArTi channel nearer Halloween, and I was dying to try it out, so I thought why not use it to embellish a new home card for a pair of friends that just moved :D :D I Really like the way this card came out, It did take me over 90 mins to make, but it was worth it :D :D Hope you like it too :D

Warm Christmas Wishes Using Paper Cuts :D

A clean and quite simple Christmas card, although I did use some Distress Oxide and Distress Crayons as part of the background, the overall look gives off a clean and simple vibe to me :D :D :D This card and a few others of mine where actually on Hochanda a week or two ago when Julia was on there with this ranger of Paper Cuts dies :D It was the first time I've ever had any of my cards on the telly :D :D I really loved how this card turned out, using the blue card as a base and adding the oxide over the top really gives a cool finish :D :D

Hello Deer Masking Fluid Union Jack :D

A pair of Deer themed cards with a hand drawn (and not accurate lol) Union Jack (technically it's a union flag lol, but I prefer the name Union Jack :D) background, where I decanted some Cosmic Shimmer Masking Fluid into a fine tip bottle and used it to draw on some resist lines and dots which I then watercoloured over the top of :D There's quite a bit of drying time in between because you want the masking fluid to be completely dry before you paint it, and then you want the paint to be completely dry before you remove the masking fluid, but if you cut out the drying time, these cards where actually reasonably quick to make, and I really like the way they turned out! And adding the Gold Gansai Tambi paint really added that finishing touch :D The free stamp set (Majestic Moments free with Simply Cards and Papercraft Issue 167) does come with this same sentiment, however, it's the non punny version of 'Hello Dear' so I just had to use my alphabet stamps to make it punny lol :D Hope you liked the cards! :D

Glitter Kiss Resist Christmas Wishes :D

 I absolutely LOVE this Majestic Moments Stamp and Die freebie with this month's issue of Simply Cards and Papercraft! It is soooo gorgeous :D And I really love how this card came :D This Glitter Kiss Resist is a new technique I came up with when making the cards for an up-coming magazine feature a couple of months ago, well I think I'm the first person to do this, I've never seen anyone use Glitter Kiss like this before lol, but this is such a cool technique and I actually discovered it kind of by accident which is always good :D Anyway, hope you liked the card and the new technique! I'm likening it to the classic emboss resist technique, however it eliminates the need for a sticky ink pad, heat tool and embossing powder too :D :D :D
