Today's video is a card I made ages ago! I thought I'd look through my list of videos to edit and pick a random one to share today :D It's a really simple design that could be used for any birthday, and can be made more masculine depending on the colours you use too :D Hope you enjoyed the video below :D

The bottle die I used on this card would also go fabulously with the brand new prosecco shaker dies linked at the end of the list :D :D

Have you seen the newest release from Simon Says Stamp? It's their Sunny Days Ahead release that launched on Thursday, and they very kindly sent me the outline Mum die to use in a video, so of course I had to throw in lots of Nuvo and Cosmic Shimmer products to make a card for my mum :D :D Hope you liked it :d

I adore this Hot Air Balloon Edger die, and I wanted to show that even though it's a bigger die (perfect for 5x7, A5, 8x8 cards) you can still easily use it in both portrait and landscape on a smaller card too :D You can see in the sped up below how I created the cool cloud background, using Sue Wilson's Cloud border die to create my own mask and inking over it with Colour Cloud :D I also added in some extra interest using one of Woodware's new stamps, and I think the circles go perfectly :D :D I really enjoyed using this brand new Paper Cuts die, and there were 5 new ones in this release, so make sure you go and check them all out :D :D

I had great fun playing with one of the NEW Papercuts Edger dies from Creative Expressions :D I wanted to show how you can use these gorgeous dies in their entirety, but also snip the elements out too :D :D And of course I had to use lots of Cosmic Shimmer too :D There will be an Up Close video coming sometime in the next month too, looking at a bunch of new Paper Cuts dies, and I explain in more detail exactly how I made the cards, but for now you can watch the sped up process below :D :D Enjoy :D There'll be another video tomorrow using the gorgeous Hot Air Balloon Edger :D

I recently got given some of the Airless Misters from Creative Expressions, I had a quick play with them and loved them so much I also bought myself a few more too hehehe :D And I couldn't wait to use them in the main way that I use spray inks, and that's in my art journal :D The journals I use the most, are actually cheap sketchbooks from flying tiger, and the paper is so thin, spray inks are the best way to colour the background as you're not messing with the paper while it's wet :D I still haven't braved working in one of the more expensive journals I treated myself too lol :D If you've not heard of Airless Misters before, they're a new type of spray bottle that works by vacuum and the bottom of the bottle rises as you use the product so that there is 'no air' in the ink chamber :D A plus side to this is that you can hold the bottle at any angle when spraying, they don't sputter as there's no air bubbles, and they don't get blocked either! You can also apply different amounts of pressure to still get the bigger droplets or a fine mist, just like we're used to with normal spray bottles :D :D And when they're empty, they're still re-usable too, you just need to push the bottom of the bottle back down, then fill it up again :D :D
I also used some of my new favourite Cosmic Shimmer product on this page too! The Opal Blaze!! I LOVE this so much! I just bought myself the last 3 colours too, so I now have the full collection :D :D It's unlike anything I've tried before, and although it comes in a small pot, it really does go a long way, as you don't need much to transform your project :D :D Hope you enjoyed my Art Journal Layout! I thought the quote was quite appropriate at the moment :D :D Stay Safe! xxx
