Cascading Stars Thank You | 1000 Subscriber Card Giveaway :D

A trio of cascading star thank you cards made as a gesture to mark my channel reaching 1000 amazing subscribers!! Thank you so much for taking the time to subscribe, watch my videos and leave comments! Three similar cards using the same supplies by in different colour ways in some gorgeous bright and vibrant Pixie Powder colours :D So I started by creating a Pixie Powder background (these really are gorgeous!! I didn't realise quite how stunning Pixie Powders were till I got some of the colours, not just the gold and silver ones :D), then once these were dry, I came back in with a Tonic stencil and a coordinating colour of Distress Ink and added on some subtle ink blending too :D I then used the gorgeous Cascading Stars Spellbinders die over the top (LOVE this die, just like I love the Cascading Butterflies version, and I also have the Cascading Circles now too, which I'll use in a few weeks time :D) For the sentiment, I used one of my favourite word dies, the Lawn Fawn Scripty Thanks die, along with the 'You're a Star' sentiment from the Lawn Fawn So Jelly Mini stamp set, I thought this sentiment would be perfect, playing on the fact that the cards have stars all over them lol :D I used some of the Tonic Nuvo Creative Pens to colour some scraps of white card, then I white heat embossed the sentiment on top using some Cosmic Shimmer True White Detail Embossing Powder :D I coated all three of the thanks die-cuts with some clear sparkle pen, then layered this together with the heat embossed sentiment and a piece of vellum (just so it stood out from the background a little bit more) I then finished the cards off with a scattering of pre-made Nuvo Crystal Drops (LOVE these sooooo much!!) again in colours that coordinated :D Hope you liked today's cards! Happy Belated Birthday Spellbinders Snail :D

A Belated Birthday card using the phenomenally gorgeous stamp and die Snail set from Spellbinders designed by Stephanie Low, I LOVE this set soooo much, and if you pop over to my second channel ArTi PoTeNTiAl on Wednesday, you'll also see an Art Journal Layout using this set too :D :D :D  I love that these gorgeous stamps have matching dies, I think I only have one other stamp set where I've brought the matching dies, and it really does make such a difference!! no hand ache from fussy cutting them out :D :D This set it soooo gorgeous, I couldn't resist using it for both a birthday card (which obviously had to be bleated because of the snail lol) and also an Art Journal Layout that will be up on Wednesday, and I'll try to remember to come back here and back link it once it's live too :D

So this was quite a nice clean and simple card, I literally just stamped and coloured the images using my new favourite combination of the Lawn Fawn Jet Black ink and as always, my Promarkers, and then cut the images out in seconds using the fab coordinating dies, I love the narrow white border they leave, and because you've used the pressure of a die-cutting machine, you get that gorgeous beveled edge! I expect you'll be seeing this set a few more times in the future :D :D :D I die-cut a stitched rectangle with a circular aperture, then simply layered all the elements together, I love cards like this that look like you've spend longer than you have creating them :D My final finishing touches were then some Sea Breeze Nuvo Jewel Drops, some Wink of Stella glitter pen, and also some of the Gloss White Nuvo Crystal Drops, which I applied directly to the mushrooms after attaching them to the card, it has gone a little bit yellow (I think it must have picked up some colour from the colouring, but it still looks good :D) and I also added some clear gloss to the shell of the snail too :D Hope you liked the card! Happy Mother's Day Darling Doily :D

A lovely mint Mother's Day card :D For this card, I combined the Darling Doilies stamp and die set Free with issue 21 of Die-Cutting Essentials, along with the floral frames sentiment stamp set from the new Apple Blossom Floral Frames collection :D I have to give you some pre-warning, there will be quite a few Mother's Day card videos this year! As I've had a lot of commissions lol, I'll try to inter-disperse them around, and I'll keep some for the American Mother's Day too, but just thought I'd give you a pre-warning :D

Another nice and simple card :D I started off lightly ink blending some Cracked Pistachio Distress Ink on my white panel, then I added some subtle stamping using Tide Pool Hero Arts Ink, and to finish the background, I also watered down a bit of the Distress Ink and splatted it across the background with a paintbrush (sorry if I've been doing this quite a bit recently, but it's my new favourite way to build a background :D I think I've loved every card I've made that has a background like this lol :D) I then used the largest of the free doily dies, along with a Tonic Studios nesting circle die to create a frame :D I stamped a few of the roses from the Floral Frames Sentiment stamp set from Apple Blossom and coloured them using some teal/mint coloured ProMarkers, and for the foliage, I used some Pastel Green Foundations cardstock to die cut some of the gorgeous Sue Wilson Berry Sprigs, then I added a hint of colour variation using ProMarkers :D I decided to stamp my sentiment directly onto the card black, as I had left a nice white space, but I wanted it to stand out a little more, so I added a doodled border (my other new favourite thing lol) and to tie the frame in with this, I added the same kind of border to that too :D I then simply arranged my flowers and foliage using a mixture of Cosmic Shimmer glue and foam pads, then I finished the card with some Crystal Stickles on the Berry Sprigs, and also some Morning Dew Nuvo Crystal Drops dotted around too (I REALLY love adding these Nuvo Crystal Drops to everything, I seriously didn't realise how AMAZING they would be until I had some!!! :D) Hope you liked the card! :D

Happy Anniversary Hydrangea :D

A beautiful bouquet of Hydrangeas makes the perfect focal piece for a lovely Anniversary card :D A completely different look to the previous cards I made with this gorgeous freebie from issue 160 of Simply Cards and Papercraft :D I had so much fun making the last card I did using this freebie, but I wanted to have a go at colouring the hydrangea stamp as well, so this is what I did :D I stamped and coloured the main image three times, then snipped it into different pieces when arranging it on the card so that it didn't look like three of the same image :D I also coloured two butterflies, and I created and oval frame from white card using a crea-nest-lies double stitched oval die :D For the background of my aperture, I took a piece of Aqua Foundations card and added some ink blending using Peacock Feathers Distress Ink, then I simple attached the aperture over the top with 3D foam, then started slotting my flowers in :D I finished the card off with a stamped sentiment, and a scattering of iridescent sequins too :D Hope you liked the card! Happy Birthday Mannequin Aperture :D

A brightly coloured glittery mannequin aperture card, created using the fabulous Handmade with Love A4 stamp set FREE with issue 40 of Creative Stamping :D This is such a fab versatile set, and is a great addition to your crafty stash :D Today's card is really simple, and is in some ways similar to the shaker card I made for the magazine, I thought I'd made a video showing how I cut out the centre of the mannequin, so that you have the written instructions in the magazine, and a video too, because if I had added acetate and some shaker elements, then this could have been a shaker card too :D And I thought it would be nice to show a different card, rather than re-make the one I did for the magazine lol :D

So for my glitter knitted aperture baker, I stamped the cable knitting (love how well this stamp works, and how realistic it looks too!!!) in an ombre using Butter Bar, Pale Tomato and Ultra Pink Hero arts ink cubes, then I covered that with some wide double sided, then I added some Cosmic Shimmer glitter jewels :D :D :D For my main background of the card, I very much created it in the same style as I would an Art Journal layout (go see my second channel ArTi PoTeNTiAl if you like Art Journalling :D), but I started with ink blending rather than spray inks :D I used the same colours of Hero Arts inks for the stamping, and I used Spiced Marmalade, Abandoned Coral and Picked Raspberry Distress Inks for the ink blending :D I also did some ghosting and some ink blending with the Tonic beautiful Bokeh stencil :D I added splashes of white and black inks and I used the border stamps, and sequin stamp from the set to add some subtle tone on tone stamping on the ink blending too :D Hope you liked the card :D :D :D
