Loose Watercolour Flowers with Nuvo AquaFlows :D

Did you enjoy Paula showing you the NEW AquaFlow colours and the wonderful new sentiment strip dies from Tonic on Hochanda over the weekend? I certainly did!! Here's another of the samples I made for the shows :D For this card, I also went free-hand, and attempted some loose floral watercolour, I was referring to an image I found on google as I wasn't confident enough to jump straight in, but I do like how they turned out :D I love the layering of the colours because you get that lovely blooming effect :D And I am in love with the new sentiment strip dies! I used thanks on this one, cut from cream card and backed with vellum, they're such a great font! Exactly my style hehehe :D Hope you liked the card! :D

Doodled Hearts with the NEW Nuvo AquaFlow Colours :D

The NEW colours of Nuvo AquaFlows launched this morning with Paula at 10am on Hochanda (make sure to check out rewind if you missed it!! :D) There are some stunning colours, and they're in the colour trends for 2018 again too, Ocean Air, Arabian Nights, Surprise Party and Festive Season :D I love that you can use the AquaFlows to create your backgrounds as well as to add colour to your focal images too, and as I've shown in this video, you can just use them like paintbrushes (seems obvious, but it's easy to forget lol) so here I simply used a couple of colours along with the Midas Touch to doodle some hearts, and for the lighter colours, I picked up the colour on a paintbrush with extra water to give the less intense tone :D I'm also in love with the new Sentiment Strip dies!! There are seven wonderful words, and here I've used always, and teamed it up with some clear Dymo tape that I backed with some Tonic Pure Sheen glitter (the perfect combo!!) I really like how you can adapt the seven words Tonic chose to create a whole host of different sentiments :D :D Hope you liked the card! :D :D :D

CRaFTi Acrylic Pour Cards :D

I am really loving acrylic pouring for cards!! I love that with a tiny bit of paint you can create such amazing backgrounds!! I'm planning some colour schemes to do some Christmas cards with too :D I really wanted to combine these ones with my CRaFTi dies, and the great thing about doing this is, I made seven cards from only four A6 pieces of backgrounds, and it was all leftover paint from another video that will be coming up next week :D I've linked the paints I've used below, and I think these give great results! They also contain some Dyna colours, I used the Blue Green in this one, so some of the turquoise colour is metallic :D And in this set, you get 40 different colours, and you hardly use any at all :D Plus you can experiment with tonnes of colour schemes without having to buy a big tube of each colour which is a big bonus!! :D :D :D

My favourite acrylic pourer on YouTube, and my inspiration to start doing acrylic pouring is AnneMarie Ridderhof, so make sure to go and have a look at her channel, everything I know I learnt from her and Mixed Media Girl too :D Hope you enjoyed these cards too, there will be lots more videos like this coming up as I really think these cards will sell well when I have my craft stalls, as they look so amazing :D :D :D

Black White and Red 75th Birthday Card :D

Another commission card :D This time I was given the brief he'll be 75, he's called John, he likes the red arrows, he likes cooking, is always playing solitaire, they used to have a caravan and he likes crime dramas :D I didn't quite manage the crime drama aspect, but other than that I think I managed to squeeze in a hint of everything else :D I also added some actual red arrows as a pun too hehehe :D :D Liz, who commissioned the card for her husband, really loved it, so I hope he did too :D There's such a mish mash of products on this card lol, but it's nice to have to think up a way of incorporating so many different themes into one card every once in a while :D :D :D

Winter Wishes with Tonic Craft Kit #11 :D

Another video using July's Tonic Craft Kit (Kit #11) :D You should be starting to receive your kits now, so I thought I'd put up a another nugget of inspiration :D I love that you get a selection of card in your kit, but once you've used all of that, you can pick other colours from your stash :D I really love the pale blue colours in the new Ocean Air Craft Perfect collection, and obviously that goes perfectly with snow flakes, so I have paired a couple of the new card colours with some Frosted Silver Satin Mirror Card (also from Craft Perfect :D) To give a pair of lovely frosty looking cards, I was also itching to use the stamp set, and the gorgeous bell die too (as I hadn't used them in my last video :D) so that's my excuse hehehe :D Hope you enjoyed the video and like the cards, have fun playing with your new Craft Kit! I can't wait to see what's in next months :D :D
