Sparkling Snowflakes and Christmas Wishes :D

A contemporary Christmas card using the stunningly intricate Sparkling Snowflake Die FREE with issue 31 of Die-Cutting Essentials :D :D I love how some of the fall away pieces are tiny snowflakes! They're make great elements in a shaker card hehehe :D I teamed this relatively simple design with the gorgeous Lawn Fawn Scripty Wishes die and embossed Christmas sentiment :D And added a scattering of Nuvo drops too :D I was attempting a technique I saw Jennifer McGuire do, but it didn't really work lol but I really like how the card came out! So I sent this one to my favourite editor Natalie (who's the editor of this magazine lol) :D :D Hope you liked the card and the video :D

Stenciled Mandala using Distress Crayons :D

A pair of gesso resit cards using Distress Crayons and a baby wipe :D I love this technique, and it worked brilliantly with this Mandala stencil free with issue 153 of Papercraft Essentials :D Simply lay down a thin layer of gesso onto you card, allow to dry, then cover with Distress Crayons (blending with your fingers). To create your pattern, add your stencil on top, then take a damp baby wipe and wipe away the colour from the open areas :D Simple!! :D I also added some over stenciling with Gilding Polish and used heat embossing for the sentiments, then finished with a scattering of sequins and gems :D Hope you liked the cards and the video :D

Merry Christmas Tonic :D

A rather cute Christmas card using the adorable Rudolf Reindeer buildables die set from Tonic :D On the packaging they've added the baubles to the reindeer's antlers, and I just had to take this a step further and add metallic thread to the baubles so that they all hung at different heights :D Admittedly it took me longer to do that than it did to build the reindeer lol, but I think it's totally worth it for the end result :D I then used some of the gorgeous Moonstone Glimmer Paste through the Beautiful Bokeh background for a simply snowy backdrop and finished the card with one of the Christmas sentiment banners :D Hope you liked the card and the video too :D

Hope Your Christmas (Jingle Bell) Rocks Lawn Fawn :D

 

A super cute Christmas card for my Best Friends and God Daughter, I adore this Lawn Fawn stamp set and the wreath die set too, and I just had to use both together along with some mica packed Dyna paints to make their Christmas card!! :D I went for a contemporary colour scheme too using some bright vibrant colours to off-set the black and white of the penguins :D Hope you liked the card and the video :D

Cosmic Shimmer Caught in Crystal :D

A pair of Caught in Crystal cards using lots of stunning Creative Expressions products :D I've been experimenting with the Caught in Crystal technique trying out different methods (there might be an ArTi video at some point) and for this video I was trying out the Cosmic Shimmer Varnish Lacquer and it worked really well, I love the vibrant and glittery result! It's really difficult to get a good photo of how it really looks, but I've tried my best below :D I used a combination of Ink Spray Mist, Pixie Powder, Polished Silk Glitter and Glitter Bitz, along with the Varnish Lacquer to create this look :D  Anyway, hope you liked the video and the cards :D
