Loved playing around with my Pancake Maker and Embossing Powders, and thought I'd give Chipboard a try, I definitely needed to have turned off the heat sooner and Chipboard is very absorbent, but I got a good result in the end :D Hope you liked the video :D xxx
The next installment of my Magazine Freebie videos is with Simply Cards & Papercraft Issue #266 and this month's freebie is a bit different, it's a paper and toppers collection, hope you liked what I did with it! I think the Rock Candy glitter worked so well :D Christine xxx
I promise this is the last video with this stencil hehe :D But I really wanted to try this Monstera Leaf in some different colours with more of my Cosmic Shimmer Spangles :D Also I didn't mention in the video, but when working in batch like this with thick embossing, you might encounter cracking when you adhere your panel to your card blank, BUT it's easily rectified, just gently heat the cracked area and the powder will join back together :D Hope you liked seeing more colour variations :D xxx
Another Polkadoodles card, this time having a play with Nikky's Say Cheese Collection snipping into the Hip Hip Hooray and spelling Happy instead onto a simple celebration stars background :D Hope you liked it! Christine xxx
Here's my first video using the wonderful Hidden Creek collection from the BRAND NEW company Arden Creative Studio! I am so thrilled to be on their Design Team so keep your eyes peeled for more projects using their stunning collections! The first collection, Hidden Creek, is designed by the fabulous Katie Pertiet! And isn't it stunning! Christine xxx
Main products used plus the rest of the collection :D
*** The links to The Stamp Pad aren't affiliate links, but I wanted to make you all aware of my lovely friend Gwen's website! She's stocking the whole collection and has plenty more wonderful goodies too! :D
I was having a play with the Heart Cascade 3D Embossing Folder from Tonic for a Magazine Commission and I really loved the technique of rubbing a candle over the embossed card to act as a resist so I just had to recreate it for a sped up video :D And I finished the card with some stunning Spellbinders sentiment dies! :D
Here's the next installment of my Magazine Freebie videos! This is January's issue of Creative Stamping and it's a stunner! So brilliant for some loose watercolour and perfect for using your Distress watercolour pencils :D xxx
I am LOVING being back on the Polkadoodles Design Team! Here's a quick card using the stunning Typewriter Die Set from the Sweet Moments Collection, playing around with the age old faux embossing folder technique :D
This month's Tonic Craft Kit is all about Coffee and Tea :D The die set creates a stunning Mug or Cup and Saucer that can be adapted to have a lid or to be left open, with a bunch of different decorations and a gorgeous exclusive Paper Pad too! I've been inspired by the colours from the Papers and have used them as a guide for creating a couple of cards using the fabulous Latte Art stamp from the kit :D Christine xxx
I'm using this stencil again hehe :D But showing another stencil technique that can be applied to any stencil you have in your stash :D You might have to do a few before you can judge the right amount of water to add without getting a blobby image, but anything can be disguised or cut into to remove or hide pieces you don't like :D Have fun trying this technique! Christine xxx
Another installment of my Magazine Freebie videos, this Issue of DCE is from December 2024, I'm trying to mix the magazine freebie videos in with the others I've been filming, so you're not bombarded with them, but I will catch up eventually hehe :D Hope you liked seeing this Mag Freebie combined with other dies from my stash :D Christine xxx
Another collection of cards playing with the Layered Monstera Leaf Stencil from Simon Says Stamp, but remember, I might keep using this stencil (because I love Monstera leaves) but you can do these techniques with ANY stencil from your stash :D And showing a few ways of using your stencils with Ink Sprays! I'm playing with the Pink Ink Matt Chalk Airless Misters, but again ANY ink sprays will work :D xxx
Hope you enjoyed yesterday's video all about the LOKLiK ImPress Auto 2 Smart Automatic Heat Press! I'm playing with one of the backgrounds I had previously made in today's video and combining it with spray inks and gilding polishes and I think it turned out great! :D xxx
I could not wait to have a play with Simon's Space Adventure Collection from Spellbinders, I'm sure you'll be seeing it again as I want to play with the starry embossing folder and stencil too :D And have a play with more colour combinations as well! I have lots of pieces cut ready so I can have a good play hehe :DAnd I really enjoyed playing with puff vinyl to create my background (a different variation on this technique will be in Sunday's video too :D)
A massive thank you to Spellbinders for the dies I used in this video and a massive thank you to LOKLiK and HTVRONT for sending me the wonderful Auto2 Heat Press to have an experiment with! Look out for Saturdays video for more into on this NEW machine!
A Thank You card for my Dad, he just re-did the French Drain in my back garden, hence the berets on the worms hehe and he was using an orange handled Pick Axe, so I had to draw that in :D As always I adore Francoise's designs, there's always something for every occasion, no matter how obscure :D
I'm using the gorgeous Simon Says Stamp Monstera stencil again in this video, and I'm actually using all the layers :D I'm also having a little play with some Stickles Glitter Gel that I bought a while back and hadn't gotten around to playing with :D Hope you like them cards :D Christine xxx
I had so much fun building these cocktails with Spellbinders dies, and the hands just worked so well to hold them too! I wasn't sure exactly how to use the hands to begin with, but as soon as I had this idea I just had to make them :D And you can switch it up for any theme with the extra dies from the set or the extra die sets too, they have a Halloween add-on set and a Christmas add-on set for the Martini glass too :D
Do you remember my Magazine Freebie videos from years ago? Do you miss them? Well they're back :D I've subscribed to a few of the titles (I go into more detail in the video) so there should be 16 Magazine Freebie videos coming and we'll see how successful they are to know if I'll continue past my current subscriptions :D Enjoy! :D Christine xxx
A couple of quick cards using this months Bunnies and Baskets Tonic Craft Kit :D If you miss my Kit Un-Boxing videos, please join my Patreon Community :D It's only £5 a month, or you can pick a higher tier if you'd like to give more support :D
We're so sorry for the missing footage in this video, but hopefully seeing Pumpkin on screen makes up for it hehe :D I had so much fun combining the Reversible Royal Court dies from Spellbinders with my Egyptian stash and I'm sure you'll see this collection pop up more in the future too! :D Enjoy! Christine and Pumpkin :D
I filmed this video quite a while back (as you can tell from my old glass mat in the background) and I'd never edited it, so here you are :D Enjoy! I LOVE using my Sizzix Stamp and Spin and it worked so well for these Trees from Tim Holtz Festive Print Stamps! :D And so here's the first Christmas Card video for 2025 hehe :D Christine xxx
Thank you so much to Heidi from Simon Says Stamp for sending me a voucher to buy some goodies! I LOVE this Monstera leaf stencil set, be prepared to see it pop up quite a few more times hehe, I've got lots of ideas to show you different ways of using your stencils :D
I've had this image stamped and heat embossed from when I was previously using this gorgeous Francoise Read stamp set and I just had to have fun colouring it for a Thank You card for my Mum :D And Thank You so much to Two Hands for sending me their fab Glitter Markers to have a play with :D xxx
I ABSOLUTELY ADORE this collection from Spellbinders!! And thank you soooooo much to Yana from Spellbinders for sending me these fabulous dies to play with!! Literally the best set ever! :D Keep your eyes peeled for more Spellbinders videos coming up! 🥰 xxx
I LOVE the recent Harvest Cascade Collection from Tonic, mainly because it has Pumpkins in hehe, and I thought to start off the New Year, why not make some really quick and easy cards using the stunning papers and foiled toppers from the collection :D xxx
I have a few Pumpkin themed goodies in my stash, and I hadn't used these gorgeous Honey Bee Pumpkins yet (mainly because I'd misplaced the stamp set hehe) but I just had to use it with a few other random products on a card from Pumpkin for my lovely friend Vicki! xxx
I just had to see if I could make a little 2D house using all the house elements from the Enchanted Dwellings Double A4 die set from Tonic :D The die set is designed to make 3 Enchanted House Gift Boxes, but all the little doors and windows are perfect for creating toppers for your cards too :D So I just had to make a Gingerbread house for Mum's Christmas Card :D
