I had a lot of fun with this month's Craft Kit, I love pattern dies like the hearts in this set, the perfect dies for using scraps, or for just having a play when you're not in the mood for proper crafting :D I also enjoyed playing with the Large Glue Pen and the foil too! :D xxx
As you probably know I love using scraps on cards, and I really like how these simple Christmas tree cards turned out! Hope you have a wonderful Christmas :D Christine and Pumpkin xxx
A quick and easy technique card using the fabulous Robin and Snowflakes Embossing Folder from Creative Expressions! I adore playing with 3D embossing folders, Gilding Polishes and Embossing Powders to create some really cool tile like effects!
In today's video I was having a play with some Puff Heat Transfer Vinyl from HTVRONT, you can definitely cut it using your LOKLiK Cutting Machine and I will in the future, but I wanted a fun whimsical handmade look for these card, so I just cut the holly and berries by hand :D I also wanted to add a bit of stitching as I loved it so much on my Sewn Shaker Card, but I must admit the sewing machine was not the biggest fan of sewing through the puff vinyl and card stock, but I was determined to get it to work :D The result probably isn't for everyone, but I was enjoying having a play and I like how they turned out :D Christine xxx
You can also use the code CHRISTINESMITH to get 10% off your order at HTVRONT :D
I said this in my of my Patreon videos over Cyber Week, and I just had to use the little filmstrip die from the Tonic Memory Dex die set to make a background for my siblings Christmas card! And I adore the Trim a Tree die from Tim Holtz and it was the perfect focal point for this card :D
I love Francoise's Gnome stamps, and I never got around to using this stunning Nutcracker Gnome when it came out (I think it was last year, but I couldn't find it to link too, so think it was a popular one!) And I just had to use it to make a crackin Christmas card for my lovely Patreon Vicki from Pumpkin :D
I have always wanted a sewing machine to sew on cards, and this mini sewing machine from HTVRONT is perfect! So simple to use with only having the very basics that you need :D And I thought I'd have a go at making a sewn vellum shaker card, as we all know vellum is always hard to attach without being able to see the adhesive, so sewing is perfect! And I finished the card with some gorgeous Spellbinders dies, love those Bottle Brush trees! :D Hope you liked the card! Christine xxx
One of My lovely Patrons, Julia, challenged me to make her a Hanukkah card, so here it is, my first even Hanukkah card! I really enjoyed looking through my stash to see what I could use to make my own Menorah and it turned out circle dies and the Sizzix Infinite Doodles were the perfect sets to make it! :D
I Love Creative Expressions 3D Embossing Folders and most of them now come with Companion Stencils too! Anyway, I made a card similar to this for the launch, and really loved the subtle colours, so just had to recreate it in a video :D Hope you like it! Christine xxx
A couple of years ago I did some CRaFTi Tutorial videos showing you how to use homemade layered foam stamps CRaFTi Tutorial #12 and CRaFTi Tutorial #26 and in this video I'm using all the leftover backgrounds to create some simple Christmas cards for my Patrons! Enjoy :D xxx
I adore Francoise's Christmas Collections every year, well all her collections really, but this video using some of her newest Christmas stamps to make some quick and cute Christmas cards! I love how stamping in Lost Shadow Oxide over the top of Copic colouring gives a subtle pattern, and her Distressed Edges are just fab!! :D Enjoy, Christine xxx
