Cutesy Blooms Trio of Cards :D

A trio of spring coloured cards using the gorgeous little square insert die from the Cutesy Blooms Box Lid Die from the Kaleidoscope Collection from Tonic :D As soon as I saw this die I knew I had to make it into a shaker card! Its such a gorgeous design and it words perfectly for my favourtie A2 size of card :D The two square dies around it also make the perfect little frame with this gorgeous debossed line around it :D I also used some of the edge decorative pieces to create borders on a couple of cards, and I added interest to the backgrounds using the NEW Shine stamp set from Tonic that was on Hochanda the other day :D :D Hope you liked this different use of a box lid die set :D

Paper Piecing with Tonic Kaleidoscope :D

I'm really in to paper piecing at the moment, I find it really relaxing to do, so I thought I'd give this gorgeous Tonic Kaleidoscope die a go, it was a little trickier than the designs I usually choose, but I LOVE the results! And my top tip is to piece back in as much as you like, then fill the rest in with glitter :D :D This die set is designed to work with the box lids also in the Kaleidoscope Collection from Tonic Studios, but I am LOVING the side panel dies just for creating really cool cards :D :D :D

Happy Birthday with Woodware Stamps :D

A pair of twin cards using Distress Oxides and Woodware stamps, along with Pixie's and an older stamp set from Lisa Horton to create two birthday cards :D I love this look of layering up splatty stamps, and this Birthday Splodges stamp from Woodware is perfect because you can just use the edge, but you can also used the 'Happy' as part of your sentiment too :D :D :D

Mixed Media Trio with Tonic Craft Kit #10 :D

A mixed media trio of card using the newest Tonic Craft Kit, Kit #10 :D This kit has a gorgeous verso alphabet frame die set with lots of other extras too, including three sizes of gorgeous stitched banner dies :D And a whole alphabet too, and it even has duplicate letters in it that are fancy with a swirl flourish on them, they look fab mixed in with the regular font :D :D :D Also included is a bottle of Atlantis Burst Shimmer Powder and Atlantic Drift Glitter Accents, I've focused on these two products in these three cards, showing how to brush on the Shimmer Powder in conjunction with the Nuvo Clear Mark Ink Pad, and I also showed how to make the dies from the kit into stencils and use them with the Glitter Accents to create a cool glittery frame, and also to create your own glitter alphabet too!! And they're really tactile as well :D :D Hope you enjoyed the video :D
