Geometric Merry Christmas :D

A glittery quartet of Christmas cards :D These are actually made from the 'waste' left over from the 'Geometric Ballerina' cards I posted a while ago! I couldn't bear wasting these pieces so thought if I was gunna keep them I might as well use them now so I don't forget :D For these cards, I used a variety of Spellbinders dies, Symmetry in Space (from the Geo collection, only available at Create and Craft, I think), the holly leaves from Peppermint Stick, one of the outside bauble shapes from Heirloom Reflections and also the triangle shape from the Enhanced Pennant set :D Cardstock wise, I used Creative Expressions Foundations card as usual (my favourite!!) I used Slate Grey, Cornflower Blue, Spearmint Green and Pastel Green :D And for the glitter, I was using Cosmic Shimmer Polished Silk glitter (the ultra fine glitter that Tonic make would also be fab for this too) in Turquoise and Gunmetal :D

The process behind making these cards was really simple (and you can see it in the video below) so it doesn't need too much explanation, but the yellow bits of paper I was using is a double sided sticky sheet, and I was adhering the die-cuts to that first and then I added my Polished Silk glitter over the top, this way you're saving a little bit of glitter (not that you use that much anyway!) and it saves a step of adding glue to the back of tiny pieces too :D TOP TIP: Pledge dry dusting cloths are fab for clearing up a glittery mess!! I cut mine into tiny pieces just so that I can chuck it when it gets full of glitter and I don't have to keep it :D

Annoyingly the last clip I had filmed works to be played on my computer, but Movie Maker doesn't like it, so I couldn't include that bit, but all I was doing was adding a few gems to the Christmas tress and the holly and gems as berries onto the baubles :D Another TOP TIP, you'll see in the video that I used my MISTI to stamp the sentiment, so my top tip is if you're batch making make it so that all your designs can have their sentiment in the same place, then you can set it up with your MISTI and get them stamped perfectly in the right place every time!! Hope you liked the cards :D
